The winner from each area will receive a $100.00 gift certificate
to a local advertiser.

Parent or Guardian of Contest Winners will be required to visit the office of Your Local Options in Chino. We require a  parent or guardian's signature on a model release form. You will also need to provide Options Trust with a copy of the child's birth certificate as well as a copy of the parent or guardian's drivers license for identification puposes.


OPTIONS COVER KID CONTEST RULES

Parent or legal guardian must approve submission of the child's photo(s). By submitting a photo, parent or legal guardian grants the Options Trust staff the right to publish each submitted photo(s), child's name, city, and any captions submitted along with the photo and/or any and all marketing materials created by Options Trust. Slight photo alterations and cropping may be made to the submitted photos by our staff in order to fit the photo on our site and the published magazine layout.

The Options Cover Kid Contest will be judged by the staff of Options Trust. Photos are judged with no discrimination towards sex, race, or age. All decisions of the staff of Options Trust are final.
Photos containing nudity or children depicted in a derogatory or dangerous position will not be accepted.  Options Trust reserves the right to refuse any photograph which they deem unacceptable.

All photo submitted become the property of Options Trust.   No photos will be returned.  Options Trust shall not be held responsible for the return of any photos.

By submitting a photo to the contest the parent or guardian is warranting that he or she has all rights to use the photo in any manner and will hold Options Trust harmless from any and all actions relating to the use of the photo.   In addition, the parent is agreeing to abide by the Rules of the contest.

Photos by professional photographers will not be accepted unless the photograph approves the release and use of the photograph.

The winning photograph will be published in the next edition of Options Trust. Winners will be informed via phone or email, and the parents of the winning photograph must come to the offices of Options Trust to confirm their approval to publish the photograph.
 
Parents may enter as many photos as desired.
This contest is void where prohibited by law. The contestants assume the total responsibility of knowing their local laws in regard to photo contests and are subject to any local, state, national or international laws. The Options Trust accepts no responsibility for making these individual legal determinations.
Mail-in submissions will be subject to the following guidelines: 1. The Cover Kid Contest is not responsible for lost or damaged photos. 2. Mailed in photos must be no larger than 5" x 7". Photos must be accompanied by the following items
email address, child’s name and brief caption (optional), child’s age, home address, telephone number.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to residents of the areas serviced by Options Trust.
who are elementary school students and are 3-12 years at time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Options Trust its promotional partners and their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, participating advertising and promotion agencies (and members of their immediate family and/or those living in the same of household of each such employee) are not eligible. 

INTERNET: Options Trust is not responsible for lost or late entries nor for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Options Trust or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, the Options Trust reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. Options Trust reserves the right to select winners from eligible entries received as of the termination date. CAUTION: Any attempt by a contestant to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Options Trust reserves the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent of the law. If there is a dispute as to the identity of the Entrant, the prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder of the email address. The "authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned.
GOVERNING LAW: This Contest is governed by the internal laws of the state of California without regard to principals of conflict of laws. All cases and claims pertaining to this Contest must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in the County of San Bernardino, without recourse to class action suits.
SEVERABILITY: If any provision of these Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction or appointed arbitrator, such determination shall in no way affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision herein.
